Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, conventional spray painting, and airless paint spraying equipment Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design requirements Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform surface repairs and structural painting tasks Conduct construction site surface preparation and coating application for both interior and exterior projects Follow all safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocol guidelines during all phases of work Complete detailed project documentation including inspection reports, surface condition notes, and project progress logs Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards Knowledge of construction estimating, color theory, and various painting techniques such as brush, roller, spray (conventional and airless), and industrial coating applications Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise project execution Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and fixture installation equipment Familiarity with surface preparation processes like sanding, caulking (including stucco), and renovation work on diverse materials such as drywall, wood, metal, stucco, and concrete Experience with commercial painting projects as well as residential painting environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and material quantities Strong understanding of safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual color comparison to achieve consistent finishes Construction site experience with a focus on renovation or maintenance projects is highly preferred Additional handyman or remodeling experience is a plus Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship in a lively environment where your skills make a visible difference!
