Job Description
Summary:
The Painter II at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is responsible for applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures. They must approach all encounters with guests, employees, and vendors in a friendly and service-oriented manner based on Company Standards.Responsibilities:
Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to designated surfaces according to specifications Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling cracks, and repairing imperfections Select and mix the appropriate paint or finish for each job Wall and ceiling texture. Ceiling popcorn. Install drywall. Mix and apply epoxy, acrylic, silicone paints, and stain. Use a pressure washer. Ensure that all painting tools and equipment are clean and in good working condition Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety guidelines and procedures Handle paint, chemicals, and fumes safely and responsibly Approach all encounters with guests, employees, and vendors in a friendly and service-oriented manner Adhere to the drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies of the companyExperience/Qualifications:
2 + years of related experience is required Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s): High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Discover Life atRosen:
