Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush application. Renovate and maintain existing structures through painting and trim carpentry work. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of design plans. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Requirements Proven experience in commercial painting or similar roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools. Familiarity with trim carpentry and basic maintenance person skills is a plus. Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
