Painter for special projects

Job Overview We are a mom-and-pop type start-up in Saint Augustine - Palm Coast area. We paint sports logos on mailboxes. All teams, including college basketball, college football, NFL and MLB teams, etc. We are a fun group of people who is seeking a skilled and creative Painter specialized in executing high-quality work for our mailbox projects across diverse environments. 100% of work is performed outside. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to unique painting skills that require precision and creativity expertise. As a Painter for special projects, you will bring vibrant visions to life by applying your mastery of various painting techniques and surface preparation methods. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position is ideal for motivated professionals eager to showcase their skills on challenging and rewarding assignments. Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute residential, commercial, industrial, and construction painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment Apply a variety of coatings including paints, stains, primers, sealers, stucco, and specialty finishes with precision and attention to detail Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools Experience in painting, renovation projects, or specialized painting roles with a focus on quality craftsmanship Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and color matching accuracy Proficiency with hand tools, paint, airless paint spraying equipment, and other relevant tools helpful Knowledge of various surface materials including mainly Stainless Steel, Galvanized Steel or Solid Wood helpful If interested, send us a sample of your work and/or what experience you have.
