Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. The ideal candidate is energetic, skilled in multiple painting techniques, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment where every brushstroke counts. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and caulking guns to apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes. Perform residential and commercial painting tasks including wall coatings, trim work, stucco finishing, and restoration projects. Execute surface preparation activities like plastering, masonry work, drywall repair, and concrete finishing to create a smooth base for painting. Apply industrial coatings or specialized paints using techniques like airless spray painting for large-scale or high-demand environments. Conduct caulking and sealing around windows, doors, and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a clean finish. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by handling scaffolding, working with welding equipment when necessary, and adhering to all safety protocols. Read construction schematics and schematics for precise application of paint in complex projects. Assist with maintenance tasks related to building upkeep or remodeling projects as part of the handyman team. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools including airless sprayers.
