Brevard Armory LLC is looking for a skilled Cerakote Painter to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to turn precision craftsmanship into art, applying professional-grade ceramic coatings to firearms and components for a passionate customer base. If you take pride in detail-oriented work and love the firearms industry, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:
Apply Cerakote ceramic coatings to firearms, parts, and accessories with precision and consistency Perform surface preparation including disassembly, degreasing, sandblasting, and media blasting Mix and match Cerakote colors and finishes to meet customer specifications Cure coated parts using industrial ovens and monitor proper temperature and timing Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring uniform coverage and adhesion Maintain a clean, organized, and safe painting environment Communicate with customers and staff regarding project timelines and finish optionsRequirements:
Prior experience with Cerakote application or similar ceramic/firearm coatings strongly preferred Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sandblasting and media blasting Familiarity with firearm components, disassembly, and reassembly Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to pass a background check in compliance with federal firearms regulations Experience with spray equipment and paint booths is a plusAbout Us:
