We are looking for a residential & light commercial woodwork painter to join our team! You will prepare and perform professional exterior and interior finishing/painting jobs in residential and light commercial settings. Experience preferred, but not required as you'll learn on the job. A desire to learn and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers is a must! A positive attitude is also a must!
Responsibilities:
Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks Inspect paint jobs for quality Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair and woodworking is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites is preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
