In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and surface repairs to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color schemes to execute precise painting tasks aligned with project requirements. Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, conventional spray painting, and airless paint spraying techniques. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform structural painting, fixture installation, and surface preparation activities. Conduct construction estimating for painting projects by assessing surface areas, materials needed, and labor requirements. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, following safety protocols, and operating ladders and scaffolding securely. Perform maintenance and renovation work on existing structures, including stucco application and industrial coating projects. Ensure quality control through visual color comparison and inspection of finished surfaces for consistency and durability. Assist with remodeling projects by coordinating with other trades such as drywall installers or carpenters as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a residential painter, preferably in high-end custom homes or luxury residential construction. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation methods, coatings, and finishing products. Experience with brush, roller, and spray applications. Ability to produce detailed, high-quality finishes with exceptional attention to detail. Knowledge of proper safety practices, including ladder and scaffold use. •Ability to read and understand project specifications, work orders, and finish schedules. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
