• Mission-driven nonprofit organization committed to excellence, compassion, and innovation Position Summary The Painter at MorseLife Health System is responsible for performing a variety of skilled painting and surface preparation tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and functionality of the MorseLife Health System campus.

This role supports a high-quality environment for residents, staff, and visitors by ensuring all painted surfaces meet organizational standards. How You'll Make an Impact

• Perform interior and exterior painting across all MorseLife Health System facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Match and mix paint colors to maintain consistency across the facility.
• Repair damaged surfaces, including drywall, plaster, and wood, before painting.
• Protect surrounding areas (e.g., furniture, flooring) using drop cloths and masking techniques.
• Follow established safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of materials.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of painting supplies.
• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members on broader facility projects as needed.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe upon completion.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
