Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in painting techniques, and committed to providing superior craftsmanship in residential painting projects. The Residential Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What you will be doing:
The responsibilities outlined below are not all-inclusive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed. Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and priming prior to painting. Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to various residential surfaces. Match paint colors and textures according to specifications. Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment effectively and safely. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness. Adhere to safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions and concerns. Complete tasks on schedule, efficiently managing time and resources. Inspect completed projects to ensure high-quality standards are met. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about job status.
What you have:
Proven experience as a residential painter. Knowledge of painting equipment and techniques. Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and property management. A valid driver's license is required and reliable transportation to travel between properties.
