Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primer as needed before painting or finishing. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless spray equipment to achieve smooth, even coats. Perform plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and stucco work to enhance wall aesthetics and durability. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure proper installation of drywall, fixtures, and other components. Install doors, fixtures, moldings, and metal studs while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Conduct water damage restoration tasks including mold remediation and water leak repairs when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation, painting, plastering, and related trades within construction sites. Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes is a plus. Familiarity with construction plumbing, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and airless paint spraying techniques. Ability to perform framing carpentry including metal stud framing and door hanging with precision. Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage repair is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
