Job Description
Job Summary Green Basements & Remodeling is seeking an experienced, dependable full-time painter, or a 2-person paint crew to join our team. This position will focus on high-quality interior and exterior painting for residential remodeling projects throughout the Atlanta metro area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, maintains a clean and professional work environment, and can complete projects efficiently while meeting our quality standards. Our office and warehouse is located in Marietta GA. Responsibilities Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces for painting Perform sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and minor drywall repairs Apply primer, paint, stain, and other finishes Use brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers as needed Properly cover and protect floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and surrounding areas Mix and match paint colors when required Complete interior and exterior painting projects Perform touch-ups and final detailing before project completion Maintain clean and organized work areas Properly clean and maintain painting tools and equipment Communicate with Project Managers, supervisors, and other crew members regarding job progress Follow project specifications and quality standards Follow all company and job-site safety procedures Assist with other related preparation or finishing work when necessary Qualifications At least 3 years of professional residential painting experience preferred Strong knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques Experience with surface preparation, drywall patching, caulking, sanding, staining, and finish work Experience using paint sprayers is strongly preferred Ability to produce clean lines and professional-quality finishes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and able to follow project schedules Strong attention to detail Professional appearance and respectful demeanor Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work from ladders or scaffolding Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday Occasional additional hours may be required depending on project schedules Compensation Competitive pay based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated workmanship.
