The spirit of Hawaii, from its long-held traditions to its inspired art, informs every detail of our idyllic retreat. PAINTER The Painter is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and completing repairs across the resort that require sanding, painting, varnishing, and finishing. This position plays a key role in maintaining the visual standards and overall condition of the property while delivering service that reflects the Four Seasons commitment to excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Deliver exceptional craftsmanship by maintaining, repairing, and refinishing painted, varnished, and wallpapered surfaces across the resort Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects with a high level of detail and care Respond promptly to work orders and room inspection requests, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and logged accurately Install and repair wall coverings, and refinish woodwork to uphold the resort's luxury standards Maintain an organized paint shop, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are clean, stocked, and in excellent condition Uphold a safe and well-maintained work environment by following all safety standards and properly using personal protective equipment Support resort operations by collaborating with team members across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Take pride in preventative maintenance and completing projects on time while maintaining the highest quality standards Contribute to a positive team culture and support additional projects as needed

WHAT TO BRING A

strong passion for craftsmanship and maintaining beautiful, high-quality spaces Previous experience in painting or related maintenance work (1-4 years preferred) Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishing processes An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering work that meets luxury standards The ability to respond to requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and take ownership of tasks Basic understanding of building or furniture maintenance is an asset Alignment with Four Seasons values: being genuine, caring, and committed to service excellence
