In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your craftsmanship will enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of various surfaces, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled painters eager to showcase their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers including airless paint spraying equipment Read blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles Perform surface preparation tasks like plastering, caulking, and stucco application to achieve smooth finishes Execute specialized painting techniques for industrial, commercial, or restoration projects while adhering to safety standards Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and perform masonry or concrete finishing as needed for comprehensive renovation work Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials efficiently Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with construction site experience preferred Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely and effectively Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to interpret project requirements Knowledge of construction estimating and basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities Familiarity with various surface materials such as drywall, plaster, stucco, masonry, and concrete Hands-on experience with caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, welding, and industrial painting techniques is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with your craftsmanship!
