In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable protection for structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Cover surfaces with drop clothes or masking tape to protect surrounding areas. Apply paints, stains, and other finishes using spray equipment (including airless paint sprayers), brushes, rollers, and hand tools. Perform specialized painting tasks such as coating applications, restoration projects, stucco work, wood-filling and caulking. Remove/Install fixtures and maintain painting equipment. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and professional work area. Skills Proficient in using hand tools for painting tasks Familiarity with caulk application techniques Experience with stucco application is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines Ability to Commute Des Moines Metro (Required) If you have the necessary skills as a Painter, we invite you to apply for this position.
