Job Description
SJM Custom Cabinetry is a established and continual growing cabinet/millwork fabrication and installation company that is looking for an experienced, self motivated, and skilled painter to add to our professional staff. Our reputation of producing superior products installed by our professional staff has continued to solidify our relationships with long term clients and builders. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cabinet painting/finishing is preferred, but are willing to train the right individual . Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the trade. Starting pay will depend on the individuals work ethic and experience he or she has in finishing. Must have a great attention to detail and work together to complete projects efficiency, accurately, and professionally. Good attendance and a great attitude is a absolute must for this position. Typical tasks will include staging millwork and cabinet doors on a Guffey System, sanding, spraying conversion varnish finishes, custom stain matching, maintaining a clean, industrial grade spray booth . 40-45 hour work week with overtime after 40 hours.
