As a Painter, you will Use a variety of methods and techniques to drywall, tape, and paint interior and exterior surfaces Set up and prepare tools, equipment, materials, and work surfaces/areas for paint Paint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns; mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency Operate a variety of painting tools, hand tools, and power tools to perform and complete assigned tasks Perform the job of the Laborer as needed, as outlined in the Laborer job description Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area(s) to ensure all can perform each task properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures Ensure safety and quality control for activities and personnel Keep work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and orderly condition Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends Perform other duties as assigned Qualified Candidates will Have 3-5 years of experience painting interior and exterior surfaces, drywall hanging, and taping; industrial and commercial experience a plus Knowledge of proper use of materials, supplies, and basic safety procedures used in construction work Must have high attention to detail to observe work for quality and accuracy Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently Possess excellent stamina and strength to perform constant strenuous manual labor Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude Be able to pass a pulmonary function test Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record Be authorized to work in the United States Why you'll love working at WeatherTech WeatherTech is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and clean and safe workspace.
