Position Summary:

The Painter at Dixon Superior Painting & Epoxy Floors is responsible for delivering high-quality residential and commercial painting services. This includes all aspects of surface preparation, interior and exterior painting, and clean-up while ensuring workmanship meets company standards. Painters must be detail-oriented, dependable, and professional, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces (walls, ceilings, floors, etc.) by washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, filling holes/cracks, and masking as needed Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Maintain a clean and organized job site from start to finish Follow directions from Foreman or Lead Painter regarding scope of work and specifications Assist in the setup and teardown of ladders, scaffolding, and drop cloths Properly load, transport, and clean tools and equipment Follow all safety protocols and use PPE appropriately Provide courteous and respectful communication with clients on job sites Complete tasks on schedule while maintaining quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of residential or commercial painting experience (willing to train the right candidate) Familiarity with basic hand and power tools Ability to work at heights and on ladders Must have reliable transportation to job sites Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
