Job Description
Job Summary We are hiring an experienced painter in the Metro East area who take pride in clean lines, proper preparation, and delivering a finished product they would be proud to put their name on. Our team specializes in high-end residential repaints, detailed trim work, cabinet refinishing, and commercial projects where craftsmanship matters. This position offers year-round work, competitive pay, opportunities for growth, and the chance to be part of a respected local company focused on quality over quantity. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced painter who can cut, roll, spray, prep, and complete projects with minimal supervision and consistent quality. Duties Complete residential and commercial painting projects to company standards Perform surface preparation including patching, sanding, caulking, and repairs Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Cut clean, straight lines without excessive reliance on tape Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude on job sites Communicate effectively with customers and team members Ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Focus of Work High-end residential repaints Custom trim and door finishes Commercial painting Specialty painting projects Requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and strong work ethic Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred 3+ years of professional painting experience Experience with residential repaints and commercial painting projects Proficiency in brushing, rolling, and spray applications Knowledge of prep work, patching, sanding, and caulking techniques Compensation & Benefits $18-$32 per hour (pay based on experience, productivity, and ability to work independently) Performance bonuses available Opportunities for advancement and career growth Paid time off Year-round steady work Local work only with no overnight travel Professional equipment and materials provided Why Work for R Design?
