Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter with experience in drywall installation and finishing to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and eye for detail. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional results that elevate the look and durability of our clients' properties. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, and repairing to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers (including airless paint spraying), scrapers, and sanders to apply finishes efficiently and precisely Perform surface preparation tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation for seamless finishes Execute various types of painting projects including residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, restoration work, and renovation projects Operate power tools safely for tasks such as sanding, scraping, or applying coatings on large or complex surfaces Assist with related handyman tasks such as basic carpentry (frame carpentry). Familiarity with commercial and industrial painting processes including surface preparation.
