GED Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed Apply paint, stain, and coatings to walls, ceilings, floors, and exterior surfaces Repair minor wall damage including drywall patching, cracks, and holes Maintain and refresh store appearance, including high-traffic areas and customer-facing spaces Ensure proper color matching and consistent finishes across locations Safely operate and maintain painting tools and equipment Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after projects Coordinate with management to schedule work during low-traffic hours to minimize disruption Keep records of work completed, materials used, and supply needs Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of painting or related experience preferred (commercial experience a plus) Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
