Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and may be involved in renovation, restoration, and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Estimate materials needed for each job and manage inventory effectively Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as required Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites Skills Proficient in residential and commercial painting techniques Strong knowledge of color theory and construction estimating Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting equipment Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry, and renovation processes Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform basic math calculations Experience in frame carpentry, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and maintenance person tasks Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Join our team of dedicated professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional results.
