Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the appearance and durability of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your expertise will contribute to renovation projects, restorations, and new construction sites, helping us deliver exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial painting jobs Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work as needed Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job Execute renovation and restoration projects by working with carpentry, drywall installation, framing, and fixture installation Maintain safety standards on construction sites by adhering to protocols related to scaffolding, welding (where applicable), and hazardous materials handling Requirements Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with construction site experience preferred Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, plastering tools, and power tools including airless sprayers Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate finishes for various surfaces and environments Familiarity with construction estimating techniques for material planning and project timelines Ability to perform surface preparation tasks like sanding, scraping, plastering, caulking, and masonry work Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope Experience with renovation projects involving remodeling or restoration work is advantageous Strong understanding of safety practices on construction sites including scaffolding use and hazardous material handling Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
