Production Painter/Finisher

The production painter role consists of finishing hollow metal frames by applying primer so that the finished product is smooth to the touch with no imperfections on the metal frames. The role requires attention to detail and a keen eye as you are the defacto quality control as well since you see and touch each frame.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Inspect all frames for smoothness and imperfections
• Communicate any imperfections back to management for re-work
• Prime hollow metal frames using a spray gun while paying close attention to detail
• Inspect primer job for any runs and full coverage
• Process and complete proper paperwork; returning it to correct person
• Ability to review and follow work instructions and determine operation sequences
• Pay attention to detail regarding additional add-ons that customer requested so as to provide complete set of parts requested
• Move/Carry completed products to sequential work area
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment
• Willingness to help in other areas of the finish department such as sanding and grinding

• Ability to maintain positive attitude
• Willingness to work overtime as required per production schedules
• Willingness to work as a functional and reliable part of our team

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat and walk on a regular basis.
• Must wear gloves, eyes & ear protection and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to pass monthly random drug tests if selected

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
