In this energetic role, you will be responsible for prep work on exterior paint jobs, painting interior and exteriors of homes, and staining decks & fences. We're looking for motivated individuals who are willing to work hard and learn all they can, enjoy hands-on work outdoors, and thrive in fast paced environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to high-quality residential projects that matter to the Lawrence community. Duties Prepare surfaces by power washing, sanding, scraping, priming, and repairing to ensure optimal paint adhesion Lead containment on homes built before 1978 Apply paint using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers—including airless paint spraying—to achieve smooth, even coverage Use power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing touches like caulking, wood puddy, and minor carpentry Collaborate with crew members and crew chief to ensure tasks are completed in an organized and timely fashion Requirements Must be 18 or older No prior experience required we will train you Have an open mindset: willing to work hard and learn Perks Raises every 100 hours bonuses after every completed project $1/hr bonus at the end of the season Full time work (40 hours per week) Crew chief promotions available for workers who step up at Prime Time Have a cool boss and even cooler clients

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
