Commercial Painter Prairie Built LLC Olathe, KS Job Details Full-time $25 - $27 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Tools provided Qualifications Teamwork Trim carpentry Construction painting Basic math Frame carpentry Full Job Description Overview Prairie Built is a historic restoration commercial contractor looking for a Commercial Painter with experience refinishing wood doors, windows, casings, trim, etc. Excellent attention to detail and a respect for the materials we are restoring are a must. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding position where you can take pride in restoring our nations historic buildings submit your application today. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through light sanding, scraping, cleaning and repairing. Execute a wide range of painting tasks including brush, roller, and spray applications (including airless and conventional spray systems) on commercial structures Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and man lifts to safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently while following safety procedures including respiratory protection measures Skills Proficiency in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying) Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocol adherence at all times Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential in estimating paint quantities Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of scaffolding use, ladder safety practices, and working at heights safely Knowledge of carpentry skills including trim carpentry and frame carpentry enhances versatility on diverse projects Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship in a collaborative environment that values safety, innovation, and professional growth.
