Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laborer/Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing surfaces, applying paint, and assisting with various renovation and construction projects. Your energy and craftsmanship will contribute to transforming spaces, ensuring quality finishes, and supporting the overall success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in residential, commercial, and industrial painting while gaining valuable hands-on experience across diverse construction tasks. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed Use hand tools and power tools to apply paint, stain, or coatings on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and other surfaces Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting plans and renovation details Operate airless paint sprayers for large-scale industrial or commercial projects efficiently and safely Assist with carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, fixture installation, and basic drywall work Support masonry and concrete finishing activities during renovation or restoration projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Experience Prior experience in construction painting or renovation projects is highly preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment on construction sites Knowledge of color theory to ensure accurate color matching and aesthetic consistency Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project dimensions Experience with plastering, stucco application, welding, or masonry is a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on safety and quality standards Join us if you're ready to build your career in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact!
