POSITION SUMMARY
The Cabinet Finisher is responsible for the final stage in our production process. This position involves preparing, and staining or painting cabinet components to the highest quality standards. We are looking for a skilled spray painter to join us in helping provide customers with a beautiful product that is finished perfectly. We would like to hire someone that is experienced in working with spray boots, spray systems, and various finishes to achieve flawless results.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and priming as needed. Mix and apply stains, paints, glazes, and topcoats using flatline spray equipment and manual techniques. Match finishes to customer specifications or approved samples. Perform touch-ups, repairs, and finish blending as needed for in-shop and field corrections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing booth and workspace. Inspect all finished components to ensure they meet our standards. Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure deadlines are met without compromising craftsmanship. Follow all safety protocols and maintain equipment.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in cabinet finishing or wood finishing preferred Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, spray equipment,sanding tools, and finishing materials. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to lift, move, and position cabinetry components safely. Familiarity with different wood species and how they respond to stains and finishes. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
