Job Description

The Painter is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the hotel's appearance through expert painting, finishing, and surface preparation, ensuring all areas reflect the property's high-quality standards. This role directly supports the overall guest experience by keeping the environment polished, professional, and welcoming.
HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE
Wash, scrape, sand, and smooth interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering, or applying other finishes. Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing. Erect scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks to reach necessary work areas. Examine and maintain painted surfaces, trimming, and fixtures both inside and outside the property. Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, shading stains, and clear finishes. Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls and ceilings. Maintain logs of completed work and submit finished work orders to supervisor. Other duties as assigned.
KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS
Skilled in multiple painting and finishing techniques. Strong knowledge of surface preparation and repair. Ability to work at heights with scaffolding and ladders safely. Detail-oriented craftsmanship to ensure a polished, professional appearance. Organizational skills to manage logs, work orders, and priorities efficiently.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Six years of painting experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
High school diploma or equivalent required.
