Equipment Painter -
Department:
Service Position Summary The Equipment Painter is responsible for preparing and painting agricultural equipment and/or construction equipment within the company's dedicated paint shop at the Parks, LA location. This role involves surface preparation, proper paint application, and ensuring high-quality finishes while following safety standards and shop procedures. The Equipment Painter is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, supporting overall paint shop upkeep, and promoting a safe work environment. Prior experience is welcomed but not required, as training will be provided for individuals motivated to learn and grow in the role. Job Responsibilities Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately and promptly. Use small hand tools to prepare equipment for painting. Operate shop equipment such as jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes safely (training provided if needed). Prepare and paint equipment according to company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the paint shop. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. Required High school diploma or GED. Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment. Willingness to learn and be trained in equipment painting processes and shop operations. Preferred Previous painting or equipment preparation experience (not required).
