Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction. The Painter will play a vital role in delivering high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and brushes. Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision, adhering to project timelines and specifications. Perform surface repairs such as drywall finishing. Conduct renovation work including restoration of surfaces and remodeling tasks. Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and organizing tools. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting. Proficiency with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, scrapers; power tools including sanders and spray equipment Familiarity with surface preparation techniques like drywall finishing. Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and finishing aesthetics. Construction site experience preferred; knowledge of safety standards is essential. Drivers License is a must Basic English is preferred
Pay:
$19.00 - $27.00 per hour
