In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential and commercial properties. MPS mainly supports local apartment communities in high volume, high productivity paints. The job offers 30-40+ hours a week, Monday-Friday. The individual will need to provide their own transportation to and from the jobsite. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. The ideal candidate is energetic, skilled in multiple painting techniques, and eager to contribute to a collaborative work environment that values safety, precision, and excellence. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers and brushes. Conduct surface preparation for painting projects involving removal and installation of new drywall for small repairs as needed . Operate hand tools like scrapers, power tools including drills and oscillating tools when necessary. Experience Proven experience in residential and commercial painting with knowledge of color theory and finishing techniques. Hands-on experience in multifamily housing and residential painting environments with familiarity in construction site safety protocols. Background in using hand tools and power tools for various applications including caulking and restoration work. Experience with renovation projects involving plastering, texturing, framing, or carpentry is highly desirable.
