Compensation:

$38,000 - $52,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers Repair small drywall patches Maintain a neat and tidy work area

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan, to be considered for this position Minimum 1-2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial preferred) Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper use of brushes, rollers, and sprayers Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and scaffolding Experience with drywall patching, sanding, caulking, taping, and priming surfaces Understanding of different paint types and finishes, including interior/exterior applications Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow job site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and coworkers Willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule year-round About Company Since 1986, Concraft has provided emergency restoration and reconstruction services throughout the Greater Detroit Metro Area and Southeast Michigan.
