Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter Helper and be a vital part of transforming spaces! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled painters in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and supporting various painting projects across residential, commercial, and renovation sites. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring client satisfaction. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction and painting industry while developing valuable skills for future growth. Responsibilities Assist painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning walls or other surfaces Mix paints, primers, and other materials accurately following project specifications Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and putty knives efficiently and safely Support the setup and breakdown of work areas, including taping off sections and protecting surrounding surfaces Prepare job sites by moving materials, scaffolding, or equipment as needed for efficient workflow Learn to operate power tools and airless paint spraying equipment under supervision Follow safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment Experience Prior experience in construction painting or related trades is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, or schematics is advantageous Experience with residential or commercial painting projects enhances your fit for this role Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately are important Previous work on construction sites involving plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry or restoration is beneficial Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career helping us bring color and life to every project! Pay:
$23.66 - $28.50 per hour
