Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other hand tools Read blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles Perform specialized painting tasks including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, and restoration projects Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and power tools like drills and sanders to complete detailed work Execute surface preparation tasks such as plastering, stucco application, masonry finishing, drywall repair, and trim carpentry Install fixtures or hardware as needed during renovation or remodeling projects while maintaining safety standards on construction sites Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of both residential and commercial environments Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material needs Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding techniques, and concrete finishing methods Skills in plastering, caulking, fixture installation, restoration work, framing carpentry, masonry, remodeling projects, and maintenance tasks Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Prior work experience in construction site environments with exposure to renovation or industrial painting projects is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with your craftsmanship!
