We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented painter to join our team. This is a good fit for someone who has professional painting experience, takes pride in clean work, respects customers' homes, and wants steady full-time work with a small company.
What You'll Do:
Prep and paint interior and exterior surfaces Work with brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, and standard painting tools Protect floors, furniture, landscaping, and customer property Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional Set up and clean up materials and equipment each day Follow project scopes, product specs, and safety expectations Communicate clearly with crew leads, clients, and team members Track hours daily using our digital time-tracking system What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of professional residential or light commercial painting experience Strong prep skills and attention to detail Reliable transportation to job sites throughout West Michigan Ability to take direction, work independently, and stay productive Respectful, professional communication with clients and coworkers Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work on your feet Authorized to work in the U.S. Background check required Pay & Benefits $20-$25/hour for experienced painters, based on skill and experience Yearly review with opportunities for pay increase Overtime pay at 1.5x after 40 hours/week Paid time off and paid holidays after 30 days, yearly PTO increases Sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually Healthcare reimbursement available through QSEHRA On-the-job training and opportunities to grow Materials and equipment provided Steady full-time work with a small, family-owned company About the Work Most job sites are in or within an hour of the Greater Grand Rapids / West Michigan area.
