Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented High School or College Graduate to join our team as a Painter. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in residential and commercial painting projects, renovation, and construction-related tasks. As a Painter, you will play a vital role in transforming spaces by applying paint, finishes, and coatings with precision and care. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the trade, work on diverse projects, and grow within the construction and painting industry. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer or sealers Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and spray guns Assist with surface repairs including plastering, caulking, and basic drywall work to ensure smooth finishes Read blueprints, schematics, or project plans to determine paint specifications and project scope Support renovation projects by performing trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco work, and masonry tasks Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all team members Requirements High school diploma Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment such as airless sprayers Ability to read blueprints or schematics related to construction painting projects Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols Strong attention to detail with an eye for color theory and finishing quality Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights if needed Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during project prep and execution Prior experience in residential or commercial painting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided Join us in creating beautiful spaces while building your career in the dynamic field of painting!
