Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects including renovations, restorations, and new constructions. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints according to specifications and ensure proper application techniques are used. Perform plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks to achieve a polished look. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including fixture installation and trim carpentry. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use. Conduct basic maintenance tasks as needed on job sites. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills: Experience with residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting projects. Familiarity with industrial painting processes and materials. Knowledge of renovation practices including concrete finishing, masonry work, and remodeling skills. Previous experience on construction sites is preferred; familiarity with safety protocols is essential.
