Duties Lead and coordinate painting crews on various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Execute a variety of painting techniques including brush, roller, spray (airless and conventional), and specialty coatings for different surfaces such as stucco, masonry, drywall, and fixtures Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute project plans Maintain safety regulations by using respiratory protection, proper ladder use, power tools handling, and following safety protocols at all times Manage surface preparation for construction and renovation projects involving structural painting and site-specific requirements Assist with estimating project materials and timelines based on scope of work Requirements Proven experience in construction or renovation painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and other equipment Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Familiarity with safety regulations including respiratory protection and fall prevention measures Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects is highly desirable Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities Hands-on experience with drywall installation/repair, caulking, stucco work, masonry, fixture installation or handyman tasks is a plus Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members while maintaining high safety standards Valid construction site experience with a focus on renovation or remodeling projects Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
