Job Summary We are seeking reliable individuals to hire for this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects on both interiors and exteriors. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise craftsmanship and attention to detail. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory, and specific application requirements. Mix paints and coatings accurately using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired colors and finishes. Apply paint, stain, primer, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment across various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and fixtures. Perform construction painting tasks on new builds or renovation sites while adhering to safety standards on construction sites. Execute specialty painting techniques such as industrial painting or restoration work when required. Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, and caulking guns for surface preparation and finishing touches. Requirements We require that you have a driver's license and can show up to work everyday. On the job training will be provided Basic math skills for measurements and mixing paints or coatings precisely. Ability to read schematics and understand technical instructions related to industrial or construction painting projects. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in applying paint finishes that meet quality standards. Physical stamina for working at heights or in various weather conditions; ability to stand for extended periods while performing detailed tasks.
