Painter

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects Execute construction painting tasks on new builds or renovation sites with precision and attention to detail Perform specialty finishes including stucco application, masonry painting, restoration work, and fixture installation Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment (if applicable), and other hand tools while adhering to site protocols Collaborate with carpentry teams for trim carpentry or frame carpentry work during remodeling or renovation projects Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished work meets company standards and client expectations Assist with maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, masonry touch-ups, or concrete finishing as needed Experience Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques Hands-on experience in commercial or industrial painting environments on construction sites Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and spray equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for estimating project scope and material quantities Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects Experience with plastering, stucco application, restoration work, or masonry is a plus Background in renovation projects involving fixture installation or remodeling tasks Construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety protocols and teamwork dynamics Additional handyman skills such as caulking, drywall repair, framing carpentry or welding are advantageous Join us if you're passionate about creating beautiful spaces through expert craftsmanship!
