The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be comfortable working on construction sites. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of projects, including residential and commercial properties. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Work with stucco and plaster materials for surface preparation and finishing. Install drywall and perform necessary repairs to ensure a smooth painting surface. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects to achieve desired aesthetics. Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Perform trim carpentry tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of painted areas. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Skills Proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of various types of paint finishes. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
