Location:
Metro Detroit. Our core operations take place in the Royal Oak and Northville areas, with the potential of working as far west as Ann Arbor and as far east as Gross Pointe.
Pay:
$25-$28/hour (Start at $25, reviewed after 4-6 weeks). Future potential crew leader position currently pays between $30-33/hour. We're a growing residential painting company looking for a high-level painter — someone who doesn't just "get the job done," but takes ownership, works with urgency, and elevates the entire crew. This role is for a top performer and team player who can operate at a high level alongside a Crew Lead — not beneath them — so leadership can focus on managing projects instead of babysitting production. What Sets This Role Apart You will be expected to produce at a high level in both quality and speed You will work as an equal with the Crew Lead , not just take direction You will play a key role in keeping jobs moving efficiently and professionally There is a clear path to step into a Crew Lead position What We're Looking For Strong residential painting experience (interior and exterior) Someone who consistently exceeds expectations , not someone who needs pushing A true team player — supports the crew, communicates well, and keeps momentum high Ability to work fast without sacrificing finish quality Takes pride in clean setups, clean lines, and professional results Shows up every day ready to work, focused, and reliable Naturally takes initiative — sees what needs to be done and handles it Responsibilities Full prep work: masking, sanding, caulking, patching, priming, mudding High-quality application (brush, roll, and spray when needed) Maintain strong production pace while keeping standards high Help keep the crew efficient, organized, and on track Contribute to a clean, professional job site at all times P.S. if you read this, send us your favorite color along with the other requested information to show that you read through Growth Path We are actively looking to build our next Crew Lead from this role .
