Painter

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple painting disciplines while working on diverse projects that challenge your creativity and technical abilities. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers including airless paint spraying equipment. Perform construction painting tasks on residential homes while adhering to safety standards. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes to accurately assess project scope and materials needed. Experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying systems, and maintenance of equipment. Solid understanding of construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to surface area or material quantities. Honesty and integrity are very important as well as a strong work ethic

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
