A Painter applies paint to walls of houses or buildings, including interior and exterior walls. Prepares wall surfaces before painting. May specialize in painting industrial structures.
$2500 Hiring Bonus! The Painter is responsible for operating painting equipment to paint trailers and parts which meet quality specifications in a timely fashion.
Essential Specific Job Duties:
1. Prepares spray guns and equipment. 2. Moves trailers in and out of spray booth. 3. Removes tires as needed and covers/tapes off parts that are not to be painted. 4. Spray paints trailers on all surfaces with appropriate colors. 5. Hangs and sprays parts as needed. 6. Blasting duties as needed. 7. Striping/touch up duties as needed. 8. May be responsible for storing, moving, and/or handling hazardous or non-hazardous waste/materials. 9. Meets production deadlines and notifies Supervisor of any production delays. 10.Adheres to quality standards at all times. 11.Adheres to safety standards at all times. 12.Maintains work area in a clean, safe, orderly fashion.
