In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, develop your skills in multiple painting techniques, and contribute to high-quality renovations and new constructions. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and other power tools. Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and drywall repair to create a smooth finish. Execute various types of painting projects including residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, restoration work, and industrial coating applications. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment and adhering to protocols during all phases of work. Assist with remodeling projects by providing handyman services like basic repairs or maintenance tasks as needed. Estimate materials needed for projects through construction estimating knowledge and basic math skills to ensure efficient resource management. Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of both residential and commercial environments. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and industrial equipment like welding or concrete finishing tools. Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes that match design specifications or client preferences. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction projects. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations and site protocols. Skills in plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work, desirable. Previous handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects adds value to your candidacy.
