Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. Additionally, you will perform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in residential and commercial painting projects while contributing to renovation and restoration efforts across diverse construction sites. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship are essential for success in this energetic role. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Perform plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work as needed for surface preparation and finishing touches Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting plans on residential or commercial projects Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during painting and renovation tasks Conduct cleaning duties including debris removal, surface wiping, and site tidying to maintain a safe work environment Assist with other construction-related tasks such as fixture installation, framing, concrete finishing, or basic carpentry when required Requirements Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or restoration projects is highly preferred Knowledge of color theory and ability to select appropriate paints and finishes for different surfaces Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading blueprints or schematics Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial painting equipment Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and adherence to protocols Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, or welding are advantageous Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is preferred for job site access Join our team if you're eager to bring vibrant color and cleanliness to every project while honing your craftsmanship skills!
