Job Description
Experienced PainterAbout the Role Bennett Painting, a locally owned painting company with over 35 years in business, is looking for an experienced painter to join our team. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional painting experience who takes pride in quality work, works efficiently, and can handle a variety of residential painting projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and as part of a small crew. Previous experience leading a team is preferred but not required. Most of our work is in Bozeman, Belgrade, and the surrounding area, with occasional projects farther away. What We Offer Full-time Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional weekends Overtime opportunities Paid time off and paid holidays after 6 months Opportunities for advancement Tools provided Variety of projects including residential repaints, new construction, occasional commercial, and specialty finishing Small business environment with supportive crews Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and caulking Properly mask and protect floors, furniture, and finished surfaces Apply paints, stains, primers, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers Perform quality brush and roller work, including clean cutting Complete staining, cabinet finishing, and specialty work as needed Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Work safely and comfortably on ladders up to 40 feet Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional painting experience Experience with airless spraying, staining, and cabinet finishing is highly preferred Strong brush and roller skills Comfortable working on ladders up to 40 feet Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Professional and respectful when working in clients' homes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous crew leadership experience is preferred but not required Why Join Us?
