In this role, you will be responsible for doing demo, repair work, carpentry, sheetrock, tile, pressure washing, applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is energetic, skilled in multiple painting techniques, and possesses a strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans. Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and restoration work to ensure smooth finishes. Execute specialized painting techniques such as industrial painting and renovation coatings on various substrates. Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, or framing as needed for finishing touches or remodeling projects. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to scaffolding, working at heights, welding (if applicable), and handling hazardous materials. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and industrial painting techniques. Familiarity with surface preparation methods including plastering, caulking, masonry work (such as stucco), and concrete finishing. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications. Experience with renovation projects involving remodeling or restoration work is highly desirable.
