Monday - Friday. Occasional response in emergency situations on weekends/evenings to assist with flooding emergencies.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Drywall Repair technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting, repair, trim work, sheetrock installation and repair, sanding, patching holes, and removal of sheetrock. The primary responsibilities of this role will include preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint or other finishes to various surfaces, repairing damaged drywall, and ensuring a high-quality finish on all projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in painting and drywall repair Knowledge of trim work and sheetrock installation Ability to sand surfaces to prepare for painting Proficiency in patching holes and repairing damaged drywall Experience in the removal of sheetrock Must be able to multitask several repair jobs at any given time Assist with other maintenance duties as needed on occasion to prepare for state and federal inspections Paint vacant units as directed by site manager or maintenance supervisor. This involves patching nail holes, Remove water damaged/soaked sheetrock when units are flooded to allow drying process to begin. Replace sheetrock when unit is sufficiently dry and repair/paint. Provide assistance in emergency situations as called upon by site manager and maintenance supervisor.
